WHO WE ARE

This is our story

We are an American/Kenyan ministry called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, minister to marriages in Kenya, and minister to orphans in Kenya. The ministry is headed by Pastor and Mrs. John and Esther Oglah Ronoh Kelch. Pastor John was first called to Africa in 1998. Ten years later, the call was repeated and Kenya was specified, but John was warned that he would have to go through a difficult period of preparation before he would be ready to leave for Africa. Four months after this prophecy, his wife of 16-years, Laura, passed away at the young age of 39, leaving him with six boys, and beginning the most challenging 10-year period of his life. The Lord brought him through and trained him in many ways which prepared him even more than his education from the two ministry schools he attended.

Esther has been ministering to the street children of Eldoret since 2016 while working as a secondary teacher of Christian Religious Education and Geography in Kenya. God brought her together with John miraculously, and a ministry was started in 2017. Through online communications, their relationship and ministry grew, supported by a Board of Directors which is made up of 50% Kenyan members, and 50% Americans. They were married in Kenya in 2021 and now minister together, fulfilling the call on their lives.
